Which Hi-Fi? is pleased to announce British Hi-Fi Week 2023, a seven-day celebration of the best and most exciting audio technology from our homeland.
The event will go live on March 20 and run through the end of the week. During that time, our team of experts will be publishing daily updates to celebrate the best of British hi-fi.
Coverage includes exclusive interviews with big names in the UK hi-fi industry, retrospective looks at some of the most iconic products passing through our listening rooms and some hot takes on the future of the industry from our team of audio experts.
Highlights we’re excited about include a preview of the best UK hi-fi products coming out this year, a list of our favorite test tracks from the top UK bands and a detailed look at the most iconic British hi-fi products appearing in Which Hi-Fi? past and present.

The event is part of Which hi-fi?s history, with the team hosting the same party in 2021.
It has special meaning for the team, as the origins of What Hi-Fi? British hi-fi started in the 1970s – and a lot has changed since then.
“There is a rich tradition of British hi-fi, innovation and music that is at the heart of what we do Which Hi-Fi?and it feels appropriate to celebrate the vastly diverse tastes of homegrown products, manufacturers, technology and sounds that make up today’s audio landscape,” said Which hi-fi?s hi-fi and audio editor, Kashfia Kabir.
“Naturally, none of this would be possible without music. We’re highlighting some of our favorite songs and albums from a huge melting pot of artists, influences and styles – including jazz, R&B, electronica, heavy metal, indie rock – without which there would be no point in all that beautiful hi-fi music. we’re listening to.”
