Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta got into an altercation with Newcastle FC manager Eddie Howe on the touchline during Tuesday’s game at the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta was seen to be enraged and having an intense conversation with Eddie Howe. The Arsenal dugout referee and staff came and pulled him back.
This was not the only incident where Arteta was dissatisfied with the game. There were instances where his sideline antiques caught the attention of the public.
Mikel Arteta was not happy with the referring decisions following their 0-0 draw against Newcastle.
Mikel Arteta said after the game: “There were two outrageous penalties”,
“It’s a penalty or no penalty and these are both penalties.” The Arsenal guy added.
Newcastle have not picked up a single point from their last five visits to the Emirates stadium before this match. Under Eddie Howe, the team is in sparkling form this season. They are third in the table with 35 points, just one point behind defending champions Manchester City and level with Manchester United.
Arsenal, on the other hand, continue their dominance of the season. They are still on top with 44 points.
