Rohit Sharma Misses Dhaka Test – Report

India’s Test captain Rohit Sharma has reportedly been ruled out of the second Test against Bangladesh, starting December 22 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

According to Cricbuzz, Rohit will no longer travel to Dhaka.

Rohit, who led India in two ODIs in the previous series, was ruled out of the first Test, which India won by 188 runs on Sunday under Rahul’s captaincy.

Rohit had moved back to India after injuring his left thumb in the second ODI against Bangladesh at Mirpur on 7 December. Abhimanyu Easwaran is his replacement.

Rohit missed the first Test at Chattorgram after suffering a thumb injury during the second ODI against Bangladesh.
