Rishabh Pant Accident: BMW car hits partition wall, Pant seriously injured

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car suffered an accident while returning from Delhi. His car got into an accident on Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal. According to initial information, Rishabh was first admitted to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee. Now he has been referred to Max Hospital in Dehradun.

According to reports, his car crashed into a fence. Pant was driving his BMW car, which had an accident near Roorkee in Uttarakhand and caught fire.

He had to break the glass of the car to get out. Initial footage of the accident shows Rishabh suffering injuries to his head and legs and burns to his back.

Pant was omitted from the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka as he was due to join NCA for a strength and conditioning program ahead of the Border Gavaskar Trophy in February.

He was instrumental in India’s victory in the two Test Series against Bangladesh.

Reacting to the news, former Indian cricketers including VVS Laxman took to Twitter and wrote: “Praying for Rishabh Pant. Fortunately, he is out of danger.”
