If you’re looking to spring-ready your home, LG’s new projector may be right up your alley. It’s light and portable enough to move from room to room and even place outside for outdoor streaming, weather permitting.
The LG CineBeam PF510Q weighs just under a kilogram, so you can easily take it with you wherever you go. It’s versatile too, with a picture as small as 30 inches – great for a guest room workout video – up to a massive 120 inches, for the full home theater experience.
It automatically adjusts the vertical keystone alignment to eliminate tilt and distortion, giving you a straight-lined image no matter how it’s positioned. And while it’s not 4K, the HD image quality should be sharp enough for both casual viewing and gaming.
Streaming is a breeze thanks to the built-in webOS 22 operating system. This is the same operating system that runs on LG’s TVs and powers all major streaming services, including Disney+, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and more. It also has wireless prowess in the form of Apple AirPlay (and Apple Home), Screenshare for Android devices, and Bluetooth.
It also gives you extra control over the audio, thanks to the Bluetooth Dual Out feature. Once paired with a device with Bluetooth 5.0 or higher, it can wirelessly connect to two Bluetooth devices at the same time, to watch with a friend or send audio to two external speakers for stereo sound.
The LG CineBeam PF510Q is available now in the US for $599 (about £484, AU$847).
