Former Brazil player Romario has wished his teammate Pele a speedy recovery. To Ge Globo he said: “King, get well. So much faith. The whole world is searching and praying for you. Improvements! I kiss your heart.”
Pele is admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, where the 82-year-old football legend is being treated for worsening cancer, kidney and heart problems. Despite Romario and Pele representing the same nation, they had their differences in the past.

Pele had commented on the claims, saying, “There are a lot of people who don’t really know what they want and are just attacking the past.
“But I’m Catholic and I believe that God always forgives the ignorant, so I forgive the ignorant.” Pel added.
On Dec. 25, Pele’s daughter posted an Instagram photo with her father after doctors previously confirmed the Brazilian legend’s kidney and heart problems had worsened since he was hospitalized.
“We are still here, in the struggle and in the faith. Another night together,” Kelly Cristina Nascimento wrote on her Instagram, with a photo showing half of the legend.
The Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, where Pele is being treated, had released a statement earlier this month saying the colon cancer that plagued the Brazilian legend was “progressing” and that he would need “more extensive care to treat.” renal and heart failure’. Moments after that statement, another of Pele’s daughters, Flavia Arantes, announced in a joint statement with Nascimento that the 82-year-old would spend Christmas in the hospital.
