Prayers for his speedy recovery have been pouring in since Friday morning the news of Indian star cricketer Rishabh Pant’s traffic accident made headlines. Pant suffered multiple injuries on Friday when his car collided with a roadblock on the Delhi-Dehradun highway.

The 25-year-old, who went to his home in Roorkee, was taken to a local hospital. He sustained injuries to his head, back and feet, but is in a stable condition. Meanwhile, several players from the cricketing world have wished Pant a speedy recovery.

“Pray for Rishabh Pant. Fortunately, he is out of danger. Wishing @RishabhPant17 a very speedy recovery. Get well soon Champ,” tweeted former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman. Indian cricket commentator and journalist Harsha Bhogle said he is thinking about Rishabh Pant this morning and desperately hopes he is well and recovers quickly.

“Rishabh Pant had an accident between Manglaur and Narsan in Haridwar district. He has now been transferred to a hospital in Dehradun after primary treatment at a hospital in Roorkee… I am thinking of Rishabh. Get well soon, Skip,” the official Delhi Capitals Twitter account tweeted.
