Lindy makes some of the best budget wireless headphones around, so a new model is always noteworthy. The BNX-60T builds on the five-star BNX-60 with improved drivers, longer battery life, fast charging, voice assistant functionality and dual pairing. And all for less than €100.
Let’s start with the drivers. Lindy developed its 40mm drivers with neodymium magnets so they now offer deeper bass and more controlled treble (the muffled treble was one of the few disappointments of the original BNX-60). Lindy promises that the sonic difference will be even greater when the active noise canceling (ANC) is activated.
Speaking of ANC, according to Lindy, this model attenuates up to 85 percent of ambient noise. That makes them perfect for blocking out office chatter, jet engine rumbles, kids screaming and more. The ear cushions are also thicker, meaning better noise isolation, so even with ANC turned off you should be able to hear music more clearly.
Bluetooth 5.0 comes standard, which is a big step up from version 4.2 of the previous model. This is more energy efficient, allowing the headphones to last for more than 24 hours before needing to be charged. It should also provide a more robust wireless connection. And with twin pairing, you can connect two devices at once and switch between them seamlessly.
Fast charging via USB-C is another new addition: just five minutes of wall time gets you an hour of use.
The thicker ear cushions and modified design should also make the headphones more comfortable, allowing for longer listening sessions. And voice control comes courtesy of Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
The Lindy BNX-60T are now available from Amazon (opens in new tab) for £94.99.
