A karaoke mode is coming to Apple Music that lets you sing along to your favorite songs. The new feature, called Apple Music Sing, includes an adjustable volume for vocals, which to us sounds like you could get some backup vocals from your favorite artists or own that solo verse. You also have real-time lyrics on screen to follow during your performance.
It’s coming to iPhone, iPad, and the 2022 Apple TV 4K. Earlier versions of the Apple TV apparently won’t get the new feature, though no explanation has been given yet.
Oliver Schusser, Apple’s VP of Apple Music and Beats says it was a natural progression to take advantage of Apple Music’s popular lyrics feature and that the company wants to “develop this offering even further to enable even greater engagement with music through song.” to make”.
Apple Music Sing is arriving via a software update later this month, just in time to hop on the mic and do your best Michael Bublé or Mariah Carey impression.
